For my next post, I wanted to return to the classics and talk about William Eggleston. William Eggleston is someone who really defined what it means to use color in photographs. I find his work captivating because instead of emphasizing what is being captured, he is primarily capturing the color that is seen. I love his use of composition, and the fact that none of his images focus on perfection. Eggleston’s work seems to emphasize the grit of the real world, and it’s incredibly inspiring.
